Only businesses that have been invited to this pilot offer by BC Hydro are eligible to participate. We'll have reached out to you by email.

In addition, the business where the products are being installed must:

1. Must be a BC Hydro business customer invited to participate.
2. Are a BC Hydro business account(s) (Large General Service Rate, Medium General Service Rate or Small General Service Rate) holder. 
3. Are a registered owner or tenant of the business. 
   1. If you're not the legal owner of the business, confirm to BC Hydro that you have permission and authority from the owner to install these products at the business location. You may need to provide proof of this authority if BC Hydro asks for it. 
4. Agree to all terms and conditions in the Application and submit a signed Application within 90 days of the Assessment date. 
5. The Business receives electricity from one of the four communities and associated feeders as determined by BC Hydro. 
6. Have an operating smart meter.

Eligibility Requirements:

2. Consume less than 500,000 kWh (500 MWh) of electricity per year.

3. Be a registered owner or tenant of the business.

   1. If you’re not the legal owner of the business, you must provide an "Owner / Landlord Waiver Form" confirming you have the authority to install these products at the location.

4. Propose a project for "one-for-one" equipment replacements or simple add-ons (such as upgrading old fixtures to new LEDs).

5. Ensure all selected products and configurations are listed in the BC Hydro e.Catalog.

6. Obtain formal pre-approval from BC Hydro before purchasing any equipment or starting the installation work.

7. Have the upgrade completed by a registered member of the BC Hydro Alliance of Energy Professionals (like our team).
